Killing Floor Twisted Christmas

Killing Floor is a unique bullet time game. You play in coop mode with up to 6 players at any one time and the objective is to get through 10 waves (with each wave getting much harder) and then you must face the patriarch which is the final boss that has rocket launchers and a machine gun and also cloaks and goes away to heal. Playing on normal seems to be quite a challenge but in order to really get through all the waves its all about team work. Because trust me, if you disband from your group you'll surely be butt raped by the dozens of clots and crawlers.

Now since Tripwire are in a Christmas mood they decided to create a crazy free update which will be available till 6th january. In this update are new models for the enemies. So the clots are elves, the bloat is now santa, Crawlers are Reindeer's, Gorefast are now gingerbread men that run at you with a big candy stick! and many more! what makes this update even more awesome is the lively music that plays are you decapitate an elves head in bullet time, ahhh the satisfaction...

Today is the final day for the killing floor sale. And is available for £5.10 rather than the usual £14.99

This a must buy!

Check our video showing the new update. I was kindly joined by cupcake who also had his fair share of getting gang banged by crawlers and gorefasts! Good times!

Square Enix Apologize for Final Fantasy XIV

Final Fantasy was very much hyped through out the years. People we're excited and many eager to sign up to the beta that started months back before the release date( a year if my memory serves right) And yet the game was unfinished, buggy and horrible looking. I was one of the few very eager people. I managed to get into the Beta the graphics were really putting me off playing. Not to mention the U.I was hard to navigate, not knowing what to click with everything clustered and hidden well. You'd expect something nice after looking at the picture above or the trailer.

And CEO of Square Enix,
Yoichi Wada posted a message to Final Fantasy XIV purchasers apologising for the state that the game was in. He also added that the team who were in charge of the MMO have been restructured and the free trial period has also extended even further.

On the Official Final Fantasy XIV site, Yoichi Wada had this to say;

"while more than two months have passed since the official launch of FINAL FANTASY XIV service, we deeply regret that the game has yet to achieve the level of enjoyability that FINAL FANTASY fans have come to expect from the franchise, and for this we offer our sincerest of apologies
."

He outlined a few changes such as changes to the staff that were working on the MMO, which includes a new Director and Producer, Naoki Yoshida who has been mostly working on Dragon Quest Battle Road games.

Wada adds “we realize time is of the essence and are fully determined to provide our customers with quality service. It is because of this that we ask our customers to be patient until we are able to confidently present them with a concrete plan outlining FINAL FANTASY XIV’s new direction. The free trial period will be extended until that time.”

Square Enix are usually good at delivering top quality games. At the end of the day the reason for the failure of the game is down to the team. Hopefully Naoki Yoshida pulls this game into the right direction. We'll be watching carefully as to what improvements they make.

Valves New Security

Doug: "We need some more Security guards..."

Gabe: "Don't worry i have it all covered. Heh heh heh..."

A few days later Dough comes to work in the valve office ready in his blue shirt for another day of working on Half life 2 Episode 3 (YOU WISH!) and as he goes past the famous valve wheel he hears a beep and stops in his sudden track. As he slowly turns around he hears another beep. He stands their motionless unable to speak, terrified as if he had seen a mixture of the Kool aid man and Gabe Newel. There in front of him stood a life size, working TEAM FORTRESS 2 SENTRY!

That's right. Valve decided to upgrade their main hall with a security bot, who's on the job 24/7 and it's doing quite the job as you can see.

The Sentry bot was built by WETA workshop, a design and manufacturing company who have also created props for Lord Of The Rings and Avatar.

This is clearly a remarkable machine. And you can guarantee that all Valve employees will be coming in with blue shirts on

Check the video below to see it in action!

Batman Arkham City Full Trailer

You saw the 40 seconds trailer of Batman whooping S.W.A.T ass on the rooftops. Now watch a 2 minute trailer of him kicking some more ass.

This new longer trailer was shown at VGA 2010 and shows silly S.W.A.T teams trying to do the impossible. Capture the Batman. HAH!

They met with their inevitable fate and got their bodies slammed, asses kicked and faces punched. The last S.W.A.T had been injected with two types of chemicals that most likely makes him talk the truth. And thus we find out another villain in Arkham City. Hugo Strange.

In the original comics Bruce Wayne goes to Hugo Strange who set up a hospital for the wealthy. When Bruce wayne administers himself to the Hospital to get treated for radiation he also opens the doors to his secret identity, the batman. Which when Hugo Strange finds out; proceeds to wreak havoc on his personal life incognito.

Story looks promising with the Bats not only having to contain the Villains but also having to keep his identity a secret.

Batman Arkham City will be hitting shelves in August 2011.

PlanetSide sequel on the cards?

The first PlanetSide (released in 2003) captivated audiences for years with it's revolutionary MMOFPS gameplay. In an interview with The Escapist, John Smedley (President of Sony Online) strongly hinted that the game's long awaited sequel could be in the works, saying;
"We have a very big launch coming in the month of March. It’s a big first person shooter franchise that we’re really happy with.”
When questioned on whether it could be a sequel to PlanetSide, he replied;
"Could be", adding that he felt he had already revealed too much considering Sony have yet to "technically announce it"" before admitting that he is in fact a big fan of the game.

Man puts Glados's test chambers to shame!

What happens when you spend 2 years trying to learn acrobatics and l33t movement skills on portal?

You can finish the game in approximately 10 minutes according to one Man.

The Final Frontier...He has gone where no man has gone before....searching for new exploits...
*Ahem* enough of that.

So a man that goes by the name Demonstrate has managed to complete Portal in just under 10 minutes using various exploits and bug in the levels that you wouldn't normally find. How he came to find them? we don't know and don't really want to know. But if you haven't played Portal before, shoot yourself in the ass and then watch the video if you want to know why it was one of the most successful intuitive games ever made.

Below is the video show casing some mind boggling glitches. You can find a link in the description where Demonstrate talks about how to do these moves. Enjoy!

Dues Ex: Human Revolution Extended Trailer Full of Epicness!

Eidos have just released a new trailer that runs for about 5 minutes long and includes clips from previous trailers. Dues Ex: Human Revolution is set in a cyberpunk universe with conspiracies, evil corporations and a society on the brink of collapsing and ready to reign hell on the streets.

In the trailer you wont be just rewatching the same clips. When you get about 1 minute into the clip you'll see a new scene.

We've also been told by Eidos that Adam Jensen works as a security guard for Sarif Industries and an attack causes him to loose his arm and gets augmented ones . In the new scene you won't see Adam with his new mechanical arms. There also are a few other augmentations shown in the video too.

What we know is that there will be 21 cybernetic enhancements available in the game, but we're not sure what they' are yet. Hopefully Eidos will release some details, But we'll most likely just find out after reviewing the game :D

Dues Ex: Human Evolution is available to pre order right now.

Dead Space 2 shows us a new monster

Time to slice some necro ass!
With Deadspace 2 only weeks away from release. A new video has surfaced showing a new necromorph in action. They're known as Sprawls and they're going to be sorry for ever coming in your path. But hey! good news for us right? more enemies to slice into pieces!
Golem is after blood not shiny objects
We're not sure where it takes place besides some huge space city. The plagues going to spread and you're going to be the one to stop it (oh yeeaahh...) Sucks for those humans but hey atleast you can see more people get mutilated and turned. We would actually like it if we could save a couple of civilians on the spot. But who knows we'll have to wait and see. I literally shat bricks playing the first one because you'd always get that quiet atmosphere and as soon as you think everything's fine. OH MY GOD THOSE UGLY PRICKS ARE EVERYWHERE!*GIRLISH SCREAM* SHOOT! RUN! SHOOT! RUN! SQUISH! *Phew...*

The demo for Dead space 2 will release in December 21st. And we'll upload a video with my reaction to the game. Don't worry, i'll have lots of pampers in stock for the night! :)

Pie, Out!
